International Guild of Hypnotherapy, 3 Principles and NLP Practitioners and Trainers LTD (IGH3P)

This policy and the practices described here apply to the company, the prime business of which is membership, and how it administers the information of its members and non-members.

Looking after Personal Information

Your personal information includes the information you give to the IGH3P, the record of our contacts with you and also the permissions you give about what information and newsletters you want us to send to you.

We are committed to protecting your privacy we will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully - in accordance with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) 2018.

We will:

  • Not sell your data
  • Give you ways to manage and review your marketing choices at any time 
  • Hold your data securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.

You provide data when you

  • Make an enquiry
  • Apply to attend one of our courses or events
  • Attend one of our courses or events
  • Sign up to our newsletters
  • Interact with us on social media
  • Provide us with services
  • Apply to become a member of the IGH3P. To do this, a detailed on-line application form needs to be completed to establish your credentials for membership. On successful completion of the form and acceptance into IGH3P, your information is displayed on our website: www.igh3p.com for as long as you continue to pay for your membership. Please note that members' details are held for up to 5 years after they cease to be a member, unless they request that those details be erased. 

If you choose not to give us personal information, it may prevent us working effectively and safely with you. In such an instance, we would be unable to enter into a working relationship with you. 

The Law regarding Personal Information

The law allows us to use your personal information only if we have a justifiable reason to do so. The law says we must have one or more of these reasons:

  • Legal duty
  • Legitimate interest
  • Your consent to us doing so.

Type of information we collect

For non-members, information collected comprises name, address including email, phone numbers and nature of your enquiry.

For- IGH3P Members
A core service of IGH3P is to provide training, education and membership related services to our members. Membership of the IGH3P includes agreement to have information about you listed on the website www.igh3p.com and also to use your image and personal details on that website and for other IGH3P promotional purposes.

If you choose not to give us personal information, it may prevent us from working effectively and safely with you. In this instance, we would be unable to enter into a working relationship with you.

Sharing your Data
We do not share your information with third parties unless you have given your permission to do so or there is a legal requirement to do so, such as protection of yourself or others if we feel there is a risk, or we receive a legal request for your records.

We will only send you information that you have agreed to receive. You may remove yourself from any mailing list, newsletter circulation or email from us at any point you choose.

Storing your Data
All data will be stored securely and in line with legal requirements. We will store your membership information for a maximum of 5 years after our last contact with you.

Enquiries and applications that you make and then do not choose to follow up on will be stored for 12 months. You may request these to be destroyed ahead of this timescale.

Marketing
By marketing, we mean: information of relevance to NLP, hypnosis and hypnotherapy practice, events, courses and offers. We may use your personal information to give you information tailored to your needs and relevant support.

The personal information we have for you is made up of what you tell us and data we collect when you use our services.

We can only use your personal information to send you marketing messages if we have your consent. You can ask us to stop sending you marketing messages by unsubscribing at any time.

Our website and newsletter may, from time to time, contain links to and from partners’, advertisers’, affiliates’ and social network sites. If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that these sites have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for those policies. Please check their privacy policies before you submit any personal data to those websites as they may not be on the same terms as ours.

We may ask you to confirm or update your choices, if you book any new courses or buy services from us in the future. We will also ask you to do this if there are changes in the law, regulation, or the structure of our business.

Email marketing campaigns published by this website or its owners may contain tracking facilities within the actual email. Subscriber activity is tracked and stored in a database for future analysis and evaluation. Such tracked activity may include: the opening of emails, forwarding of emails, the clicking of links within the email content, times, dates and frequency of activity etc. This information may be used to refine future email campaigns and supply you with more relevant content based around your activity.

Email and newsletter subscribers are given the opportunity to unsubscribe at any time through an automated system. This process is detailed at the footer of each email campaign. If you wish us to delete all email contact with you then please let us know.

Newsletters
We can only use your personal information to send you newsletters if we have your consent.

Your Rights
If you wish us to delete, remove or stop using your personal information we will do so on request, as long as there is no legal or justifiable need for us to keep it.

You have a ‘right to object’, ‘right to erasure’ or the ‘right to be forgotten’. You may withdraw your consent at any time. If you withdraw your consent, we will be unable to provide products or services to you.

Please contact us if you wish to withdraw your consent. You should understand that when exercising your rights, other legislation and requirements may take precedence over any request you make. How to get a copy of your Personal Information
Please email us at: registrar@igh3p.com, requesting a copy of your personal information. We will provide the information to you within 28 days. If you believe the information we hold about you is wrong or incomplete, please contact us. We will take any reasonable steps to correct it.
