These Terms and Conditions govern membership, accreditation, professional services and use of the IGH3P® website.
Please read them carefully before applying for membership or accreditation or purchasing any IGH3P® service.
1. About IGH3P®
IGH3P® is operated by:

INTERNATIONAL GUILD OF HYPNOTHERAPY, NLP, AND 3 PRINCIPLES PRACTITIONERS AND TRAINERS – IGH3P®
Throughout these Terms, “IGH3P®”, “IGH3P”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the above organisation.

IGH3P® is an international professional body representing practitioners, coaches, mentors, trainers and other professionals within its recognised professional scope.
Our activities include professional membership, professional accreditation, training-provider and programme accreditation, maintenance of a Professional Register, professional development, and the promotion of ethical and professional standards.
Membership or accreditation represents recognition by IGH3P® according to the standards applicable to the relevant category. It does not constitute a government licence or statutory registration and does not guarantee an individual's professional performance or suitability for a particular client.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
2. Membership
Membership is available in the categories and subject to the eligibility requirements published by IGH3P®.
Applicants must provide complete, accurate and truthful information. IGH3P® may request qualifications, certificates, evidence of professional experience or other information reasonably required to determine eligibility.
Submission of an application or payment of a membership fee does not itself guarantee acceptance.
IGH3P® may verify information supplied, request further evidence, offer an alternative membership category where appropriate, or decline an application where the applicable criteria are not satisfied.
Annual Membership
Unless expressly stated otherwise, IGH3P® membership operates on an annual basis.
Members are responsible for maintaining their membership by paying the applicable annual renewal fee and continuing to meet the professional requirements associated with their membership category.
Membership fees applicable at the time of purchase or renewal will be displayed or communicated before payment.
If annual membership is not renewed, membership will lapse at the end of the paid membership period. Membership benefits may cease and the member's status on the Professional Register may be removed or updated accordingly.
IGH3P® may change fees for future membership periods but will not retrospectively change a membership fee already paid for the current membership period.
3. Fellows and Honorary Recognition
IGH3P® may confer Fellowship, Lifelong Fellowship, honorary recognition or other professional distinctions in accordance with its criteria.
Where an individual has expressly been awarded Lifelong Fellow status, that recognition is distinguished from annually renewed membership and does not require annual membership renewal unless otherwise expressly stated.
Fellows remain expected to uphold any ethical and professional obligations applicable to their status.
IGH3P® may identify Fellows separately on its Professional Register so that their honorary or lifelong status is clearly distinguished from annually renewed membership.
4. Professional Accreditation
IGH3P® provides professional accreditation for eligible practitioners, coaches, mentors, trainers and other professionals within its recognised scope.
Accreditation requirements may include evidence of qualifications, professional training, experience, practice hours, continuing professional development (CPD), supervision or reflective practice, professional insurance where applicable, and adherence to the IGH3P® Code of Ethics and Professional Standards.
IGH3P® may request additional evidence, verify qualifications or professional information, seek clarification, require further development or decline an application where the applicable accreditation requirements have not been met.
Payment of an accreditation or assessment fee covers the relevant application, administration and/or assessment process. Payment does not guarantee that accreditation will be awarded.
Applicants must not represent themselves as holding an IGH3P® accreditation until it has been formally awarded.
Where ongoing or renewal requirements apply to an accreditation, the accredited professional is responsible for maintaining those requirements.
5. Training Provider and Programme Accreditation
IGH3P® may accredit eligible training providers, training programmes and courses against its applicable professional and educational standards.
Accreditation applies only to the provider, programme, course or provision expressly approved by IGH3P®.
An accredited provider must not represent accreditation as extending to another organisation, programme or course unless IGH3P® has expressly approved it.
Accredited providers are responsible for maintaining the standards upon which accreditation was awarded and for informing IGH3P® of material changes that may affect their accredited status.
IGH3P® may periodically review accredited provision.
Training-provider or programme accreditation does not make IGH3P® responsible for the independent provider's teaching, business operations, contractual obligations or services to its students or customers.
6. Professional Register
IGH3P® maintains a public Professional Register to enable members of the public and organisations to identify and, where appropriate, verify IGH3P® members and accredited professionals.
Depending upon the individual's status and listing arrangements, information displayed may include:
Name • Qualification/Accreditation Level • Location • Online Availability • Professional Specialism • Membership/Accreditation Status • Professional Contact or Profile Link
Not every member maintains a detailed public profile. A member may therefore be listed on the Professional Register for professional verification purposes without having an expanded profile.
Members are responsible for informing IGH3P® of material changes affecting their published professional information.
Inclusion on the Professional Register confirms the status recorded by IGH3P® at the relevant time. It does not constitute a guarantee that a professional is suitable for a particular person's individual circumstances.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, members and accredited professionals operate independently of IGH3P®. Membership or accreditation does not create an employment, partnership, agency or joint-venture relationship between IGH3P® and the professional.
Members remain responsible for their own professional services, clients, fees, insurance, business activities, tax obligations and compliance with laws and regulatory requirements applicable to their practice.
7. Professional Standards and Member Responsibilities
Members and accredited professionals are expected to comply with the IGH3P® Code of Ethics, Professional Standards and other requirements applicable to their professional status.
These may include requirements relating to:
- ethical and responsible professional practice;
- integrity and professional conduct;
- competence and professional boundaries;
- confidentiality and safeguarding;
- accurate representation of qualifications and professional status;
- conflicts of interest;
- continuing professional development;
- supervision or reflective practice where applicable; and
- cooperation with legitimate IGH3P® professional-conduct procedures.
Where CPD or supervision requirements apply to a membership or accreditation category, members are responsible for maintaining those requirements and may be asked to provide reasonable evidence of compliance.
8. Complaints, Suspension and Withdrawal of Status
IGH3P® may consider complaints or concerns relating to the professional conduct of members or accredited professionals where the matter falls within its professional remit.
Complaints will be considered in accordance with the applicable IGH3P® Complaints Procedure, Code of Ethics and Professional Standards.
IGH3P® may suspend, restrict, withdraw or terminate membership or accreditation where there are reasonable grounds under the applicable procedures, including serious or repeated professional misconduct, material misrepresentation, misuse of IGH3P® credentials, failure to maintain applicable professional requirements or non-payment of renewal fees.
Where allegations concern professional misconduct, IGH3P® will seek to apply its procedures fairly and provide an appropriate opportunity for the person concerned to respond, subject to circumstances in which interim protective action may reasonably be required.
9. IGH3P® Name, Logo and Professional Credentials
The IGH3P® name, logo, trade marks, accreditation marks, membership designations, certificates and associated branding may only be used as authorised.
Members and accredited professionals may use only the designation, credential or mark corresponding to their current and valid professional status.
A member must not:
- claim a membership or accreditation level they do not hold;
- represent expired, suspended or withdrawn status as current;
- alter or use an IGH3P® mark in a misleading manner;
- imply endorsement beyond the professional recognition actually awarded; or
- permit another individual or organisation to use their professional status.
Where membership or accreditation ends, the individual must cease using any IGH3P® designation or mark dependent upon that status.
10. Fees, Payments, Cancellations and Refunds
Fees applicable to membership, accreditation and other paid IGH3P® services will be displayed or communicated before purchase.
Where you purchase online as a consumer, you may have statutory cancellation rights under UK consumer law.
14-Day Cancellation Period
Where the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 apply, a consumer purchasing an IGH3P® service at a distance will normally have a 14-day statutory cancellation period.
For a service contract, the cancellation period normally begins when the contract is entered into.
You do not need to provide a reason for exercising a statutory right to cancel.
IGH3P® will provide information about applicable cancellation rights before purchase as required by law. Current GOV.UK guidance requires distance sellers to explain how consumers can cancel, when cancellation rights may be lost, and whether the consumer may have to pay reasonable costs for services already supplied.
Starting Membership or Accreditation During the 14 Days
Where you expressly request IGH3P® to begin providing membership, accreditation assessment or another service before the 14-day cancellation period has expired, IGH3P® may begin providing that service.
If you subsequently exercise your statutory right to cancel before the service has been fully performed, you may, where permitted by law, be required to pay an amount proportionate to the services already supplied.
Where a service has been fully performed during the cancellation period following the necessary express request and acknowledgement, the statutory cancellation right may cease in accordance with applicable law. The underlying Consumer Contracts Regulations expressly provide for these circumstances.
Merely creating or logging into an IGH3P® account does not, by itself, remove a statutory cancellation right.
Digital Content
Where a purchase separately includes digital content supplied immediately by download or streaming, different cancellation rules may apply.
Where required by law, IGH3P® will obtain the consumer's express agreement to immediate supply and acknowledgement that the statutory 14-day cancellation right for that digital content will be lost when supply begins.
If the required agreement and acknowledgement are not obtained, the consumer retains the cancellation right as provided by law.
Refunds
Any refund will be determined according to the nature of the purchase, the services already provided and the consumer's applicable statutory rights.
Nothing in these Terms excludes any right to a refund, repeat performance, price reduction or other remedy that a consumer is entitled to under applicable law.
IGH3P® will not impose cancellation terms that unlawfully result in excessive charges or automatic loss of advance payments. UK guidance specifically identifies such provisions as potentially unfair consumer terms.
11. International Members and Customers
IGH3P® operates internationally and may provide membership, accreditation and other professional services to individuals and organisations outside the United Kingdom.
IGH3P® is established in Northern Ireland, United Kingdom.
Where you purchase services from another country, mandatory consumer protections, tax requirements or other laws applicable in your country may also apply. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude mandatory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
International members and accredited professionals are responsible for ensuring that their professional practice and use of IGH3P® credentials comply with the laws and regulatory requirements of the country or jurisdiction in which they practise.
IGH3P® membership or accreditation does not itself constitute a statutory licence or government authorisation to practise a regulated profession in any particular country.
Professional licensing, registration, insurance and regulatory requirements vary between jurisdictions, and members remain responsible for determining and complying with requirements applicable to their own professional activities.
Where taxes, including VAT or equivalent taxes, are legally applicable, they will be dealt with according to the applicable tax rules. GOV.UK specifically notes that additional requirements can apply when UK businesses sell outside the UK, and special VAT rules may apply to digital services supplied to customers in EU countries.
12. Website Use and Intellectual Property
The IGH3P® website may be used for lawful personal and professional purposes.
Users must not knowingly interfere with the website's operation or security, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, impersonate another person, systematically extract protected website content, or use the Professional Register for spam, harassment or unlawful purposes.
Unless otherwise stated, IGH3P® website content, branding, logos, accreditation materials, professional resources and original materials are owned by or licensed to IGH3P® and are protected by applicable intellectual-property law.
Content may not be reproduced, commercially exploited, modified or distributed without permission where such permission is legally required.
The website may contain links to independent third-party websites. IGH3P® is not responsible for the content, availability, contractual terms or privacy practices of those independent third parties.
13. Liability
IGH3P® will provide its services with the level of care and skill required by applicable law.
IGH3P® is not responsible for the independent professional services, acts or omissions of a member, accredited professional or training provider merely because that person or organisation holds IGH3P® membership or accreditation.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Where you are acting as a consumer, nothing in these Terms removes or reduces your statutory consumer rights.
Contract terms must be fair and written transparently, and businesses cannot use contractual terms to remove statutory consumer protections.
14. Privacy and Data Protection
IGH3P® processes personal information in accordance with the IGH3P® Privacy Policy.
Our use of cookies and similar technologies, including website analytics and advertising technologies, is explained in our separate IGH3P® Cookie Policy.

15. Changes, Governing Law and Contact
IGH3P® may reasonably update these Terms, membership requirements, accreditation standards or associated policies where necessary to reflect changes in professional practice, our services, applicable law or regulatory requirements.
Where a material change affects existing members or accredited professionals, we will take reasonable steps to communicate that change and, where appropriate, allow a reasonable period for compliance.
Changes will not retrospectively remove contractual or statutory rights that have already accrued.
Governing Law
These Terms and contractual relationships governed by them are subject to the laws of Northern Ireland, subject to mandatory legal rights and protections that may apply.
Where you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms is intended to deprive you of mandatory consumer protections available under applicable law or prevent you from bringing proceedings in a court in which you have a legal right to do so.
Where you are acting wholly in the course of a business or profession, the courts of Northern Ireland shall have jurisdiction in relation to disputes arising from these Terms unless otherwise agreed in writing.
